Hi everyone, I’m Sarah Warner, the previous GA for the Communication & Leadership master’s program.

I can’t say enough how this program changed my life – and let me just tell you – it’s all about the people. The professors who became mentors, my classmates who have become lifelong friends, and the quality courses that I relate back to in my job daily, are the cornerstone of what makes ComLead stand above the rest. I feel that this program set me up for where I am in my career today, and I’m forever grateful to the amazing people who have helped guide me up to this point.

Before I get started, I’ll forewarn you that I’m definitely one of those people who thinks they have the best job in the world! Working in my field of marketing & communications for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus the last 14 months has been my dream job that’s allowed me to flex my creativity and passion for branding and design in the day-to-day creation, management and implementation of campus-wide outreach initiatives for BNMC’s core audiences.

In my role, I primarily lead the organization’s digital marketing communications, where I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work on creating a new website and video that captures the Medical Campus as a driving force behind Buffalo’s resurgence. Thoughtful planning, collaboration, and innovation that have fueled our growth over the past 15 years, and we’re only just getting started!

I am proud to work with a team  of people who support the BNMC’s mission of furthering economic growth, igniting urban revitalization, and building a strong, thriving community.

By fostering conversation and collaboration among our member institutions, partners, and the community, we’re able to leverage the collective assets of our Medical Campus and provide opportunities to help to solve challenges faced by our overall community so that we can create a better future for all!
